Chief Mike Mingee

Welcome to the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District's website. Check back often for updated public announcements, meeting agendas and events of interest. We welcome all who visit this site to also visit our Community. The 40-square miles of our Fire District are truly a special place nestled along the "Gold Coast" of southern Santa Barbara County. Our District is blessed with a small town feel and a true sense of community. Our 5 elected Directors and 37 members are all proud of our unique District and strive for excellence in our organization. Our Motto "Pride In Service" is not just a phrase placed on our fleet. We endeavor to live it every day on and off the job.

The importance of our community requires all of us in public safety to remain ever vigilant and in touch with the needs of those who live and visit this special place. It is our promise that your Fire Department stands ready to serve, prepared for the future and dedicated to our special calling as Emergency Responders.
