The Carpinteria-Summerland Fire District has the following equipment available for response 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our first out Engine companies are staffed with Advanced Life Support Services. We have three ICS Type I/II Engines One of which is provided by the Office of Emergency Services and is available to respond to a statewide emergency at any given time. We have an ICS Type II/III wildland engine for our urban interface and a Paramedic rescue vehicle to increase response time within our District. We have 2 utility vehicles, one prevention vehicle, one Fire Chief Vehicle, and a Battalion Chief Command Vehicle.
