Overseen by a five member elected Board of Directors. 

Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Department Administration

The Administration Division is currently directed by the Fire Chief Greg Fish. Administration is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the functions of the Fire District. Financial administration and budget preparation are included in the responsibilities of the Administration Division. Formal Labor/Management relations are the responsibility of the Administrative Division which includes collective bargaining and issues that arise during employee contracts. The Fire Chief acts as staff to the Board of Directors. The Fire Chief acts as Fire Chief and Department Head in the City of Carpinteria.
