It is with profound honor that I assume the role of Fire Chief in this remarkable community and agency.  I consider myself fortunate to be part of an agency with a robust foundation of pride and dedication and an outstanding reputation as a premier fire agency that provides unparalleled service to the community.  My commitment is resolute, and I am dedicated to maintaining the high standards set by my predecessors.  I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to serve.

This agency has developed meaningful, supportive, positive relationships across all levels.  The relationships span internally from our Board of Directors to the newest firefighters and externally to the community, local governments, and fire agencies throughout our area.  The fire agencies in this county have a solid bond and continually collaborate to provide the best possible service to the community.  One of my goals is to continue collaboration and prioritize relationships.

I am committed to advancing the professional development of the fire district personnel and working closely with our diverse community.  With my agency knowledge and experience, there will be a seamless transition to continue current projects such as the Fire Station 62 joint relocation project and Montecito Fire District, regional fire communication center, fire-based ambulance service, Fire Station 63 concept, and renovation of Fire Station 61.

This is an exciting time for our agency, and everyone continues demonstrating our core values of professionalism, integrity, compassion, and dedication.  The future of this agency is solid, and I am proud to be a part of it.
