Fire Engineer Raul Pantoja named 2015 Firefighter of the Year

At the March 15th Board of Director's Meeting, Fire Engineer Raul Pantoja will be honored as The 2015 Firefighter of the Year.  Raul was nominated by a group of his peers and selected by the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District Administration.  Raul has worked more than 4400 hours in 2015 and volunteered for three strike teams assignments, going above and beyond the call of duty.  Raul first began his career with CSFD in 1988; we would like to thank him for his dedication to our community.
